Privacy policy

This page explains what Anukriti Mehandi Art & Academy does with the details you share when you ask about mehandi: on this website, on Instagram, on WhatsApp or by phone. We use them only to reply to you, plan your mehandi and keep track of bookings. We do not sell them or share them for advertising.

What we collect

• The booking form on this website: your name, phone number, what you are looking for, event date, place and city, number of people, style, reference link, email, best time to call, your message, and the page you sent it from.
• Instagram: when you message us or comment on our posts and reels, we see your username, name, profile photo and what you wrote. We keep a copy of conversations and comments about bookings in our own private records.
• WhatsApp and phone calls: we note your name, number and what you need.
• Bookings: the date, time, place, price agreed and advance paid.

We never ask for passwords, ID documents or card details on this website.

How we use it

• To reply to you, send a quote and confirm your date.
• To remind ourselves to follow up with you.
• To prepare for your event and arrive on time.

Services that handle it for us

• Vercel hosts this website and our private records.
• Google (Gmail, Google Sheets and Drive): booking form inquiries are emailed to us and logged in a private sheet, and our records are backed up to a private sheet.
• Neon stores our private records of inquiries and bookings.
• Meta (Instagram and WhatsApp) carries our conversations with you.
• Anthropic, an AI service, reads the text of an Instagram conversation so that details such as your event date and city are filled in for us. Under its terms for business customers, Anthropic does not train its models on this text.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is remembered in your own browser and is never sent to us.

How long we keep it

Details of an inquiry that does not become a booking are deleted within two years of our last conversation. Booking details are kept for as long as we need them for our accounts and tax records.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. These are your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Delete your data

Send us "Please delete my data" with your name and your phone number or Instagram username, by any of these:

We delete your details from our records, email and sheets within 30 days and tell you when it is done. Backup copies made before that are removed within a further 60 days. If you have an upcoming booking, we will ask you first, because we need your number and the date to arrive on the day.
